Conquering Africa’s second highest Mountain and Kenya’s highest mountain, Mt Kenya (5,199 m – 17,058 ft), is an exhilarating event and the breathtaking views of the African sunrise from Point Lenana is an experience that will never be forgotten. This trek can be undertaken by any physically fit person. The most common routes up the mountain are Sirimon, Narumoru, Chogoria. This route is popular for its fast ascent; the altitude gain on this route is good and steady. This route offers one of the most stunning approaches to the peaks, as it passes through striking yellow wood forests in low altitudes and features gorgeous alpine scenery and abundant wildlife as you ascend.
